Haunted Brisbane- Grave of Pat Hill

Our next ‪#‎hauntedbrisbane‬ post is the Grave of Pat Hill- Boxing Referee .

Brisbaneites have always loved a good fight, the home of Brisbane’s wrestling and boxing for many years was the Brisbane Stadium. Men of different statures and builds were pitched against each other – the fights were often legendary. The man in the middle of the fisty cuffs, was a referee by the name of Pat Hill. He was a balding slender framed, wiry man, who for more than 25 years danced in the ring alongside some of Australia’s best. Following his death, the stadium organised a fund raiser to erect a memorial for Pat and the result is quite a sight!

Join us on a Toowong Cemetery- The Other Side Ghost Tour to visit his ghostly grave and hear his story. This tour runs Saturday evenings and takes in ‘the other side’ of Toowong Cemetery.

We also offer the Toowong Cemetery- The original. This tour takes in the front side of the cemetery and is run on Friday and Saturday evenings. To book a spot on one of the tours visit our website.
